Lycee A. de Saint Exupery [ Fameck - France ] |
HIGH school baccalaureat “c” |
Baccaluréat, série “C” [mathématiques et sciences], reçu avec la mention “Bien”.
French Secondary School Diploma, classification “C” [mathematics and sciences], its equivalence should
be High School Diploma + 1st year of college or university.
Mention “Bien” (14,00 - grade A) (Magna Cum Laude - pass with honors).
A little note about the notations, grades and honors in the French education system.
“In France, grades are given on a scale from 0 to 20, 20 being the highest grade.
Hence, an 18 is reserved to truly exceptional students, and grades typically range from 8 to 15,
15 being in itself a remarkable achievement” [ Cornwell University Law School, NY, USA ].
The grading scale that some american evaluations offices use for France is the following:
20 - 16 = A+ | 15.9 - 14 = A | 13.9 - 12 = B | 11.9 - 10 = C | 9.9 - 8 = D | 7.9 - 0 = F
The honors are based on the Grade Point Average assigned to the student.
Summa Cum Laude [20 - 16] - Magna Cum Laude [15.9 - 14]
Cum Laude [13.9 - 12] - Satis Bene [11.9 - 10] - Fail [below 10]

The largest and most prestigious awards competition exclusively for the “Davids” of creativity.
David defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and a little rock – the sort of thing small agencies do
each year. The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the “Creative Davids”
who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than stratospheric budgets.
Think of yourself as a “David?” Then enter the Davey Awards, the first major awards competition
specifically for smaller agencies, where you compete with your peers to win the recognition you deserve.
The Davey Awards may be for smaller companies, but the judges have big reputations. The Davey is
sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting
of top-tier professionals from a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms.
